OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Johannes Göransson is the author of nine books, including the poetry collection Summer (Tarpaulin Sky, 2022), the memoir Poetry Against All: A Diary, and the essay collection Transgressive Circulation: Essays On Translation (Noemi, 2018). His translations include Eva Kristina Olsson’s The Angelgreen Sacrament (Black Square Editions, 2021) and Helena Boberg’s Sense Violence (Black Ocean, 2020), as well as work by Swedish poet Aase Berg and Korean poet Kim Yideum. Born in Skåne, Sweden, he is an associate professor at the University of Notre Dame and, coeditor of Action Books.
