LaTanya McQueen received an MFA from Emerson College, a PhD from the University of Missouri, was the 2017-2018 Robert P. Dana Emerging Writer Fellow at Cornell College, and is currently an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Coe College. Their novel When the Reckoning Comes was published with Harper Perennial, an imprint of HarperCollins. They are also the author of And It Begins Like This, an essay collection published with Black Lawrence Press (listed by Electric Literature as one of the 46 books by women of color to read in 2018). They write both fiction and nonfiction.
