OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Join our "Stopping By Woods” botanizing walk at 10:00 am with ecologist Kerry Woods on the Museum grounds, in honor of Frost's morning walk before writing the poem in the dining room of the Stone House. From 12:00-3:00 pm, join us for an afternoon of activities that include a recitation of the poem by the Village School of North Bennington’s fourth-grade class, jazz from the '20s provided by the Bennington Traditional Jazz Band, a “Stopping By Woods…” art activity with Vermont Arts Exchange, a poetry erasure activity with Mount Anthony English Honor Society students, and a “Stopping By Woods…” poetry walk created by students from Shaftsbury Elementary and installed by the McCullough Free Library. Food will be available for purchase from Taste of India, we'll have a cash bar, snow cones, and more!
