Welcome to the Fishbowl, directed and written by Sheryl Glubok MFA ’05, had a sold-out screening at MCA Denver’s Holiday Theatre as part of the Denver Film Festival.

The film will screen again on October 29 at the Sie FilmCenter.

“I can’t even describe how I’m feeling. It’s surreal. It’s beautiful,” Sheryl Glubok told the Denver Gazette. “But it’s scary, too, because we feel very vulnerable. This film is a love letter to Colorado, where I found my artistic voice.”

Reports Denver Gazette:

"Welcome to the Fishbowl follows a stressed-out mom on a high-altitude road trip from Denver to Telluride. Elizabeth has been offered a career-making book deal, but only if she agrees to drive a narcissistic British author across Colorado to an awards ceremony in Telluride.

"Natalie Gold (Succession) and Jeremy Swift star, but Colorado plays a leading role. And the state fully won the heart of Swift, best known as lovable Leslie Higgins on Apple TV’s Ted Lasso.”
