Mayhew Bergman Appointed Associate Director of the MFA in Writing Program
Megan Mayhew Bergman (MFAW '10) has been appointed associate director of the MFA in Writing Program at Bennington College. She is the author of two critically acclaimed works of short fiction (Birds of a Lesser Paradise and Almost Famous Women) and is at work on a novel that will be published by Scribner.
Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Best American Short Stories, New Stories from the South, McSweeney’s, Tin House, and Oxford American, among other publications. Mayhew Bergman received her MFA from Bennington College in 2010 and brings a background in communications, marketing, and fundraising along with her strong literary portfolio. She has taught literature at Bennington, and lectures widely.
