Titus Andronicus to Perform at Bennington

Titus Andronicus, one of Rolling Stone magazine’s  “seven best new bands of 2010, “ will perform live at the Bennington College Student Center on Friday, Nov. 11, at 10:00 p.m. Tickets ($10 for general public/$7 with any student college ID) will be available at the door on the night of the event. 

Titus Andronicus’ 2008 debut album, The Airing of Grievances, was given a “Best New Music” stamp by Pitchfork.com, which likened the band to such legendary acts as The Pogues, Bruce Springsteen, and Conor Oberst. The band's second album, The Monitor, was released in March 2010, debuting at #7 on the Billboard Heatseeker's chart. In March, Rolling Stone magazine named the band “one of the seven best new bands of 2010.” Titus Andronicus has also been featured on Late Night with Jimmy FallonVenus Zine, and Dirty Laundry TV.
