Travel Ban Hurts U.S. College Students Too

In Forbes, Mariko Silver, president of Bennington College, condemned Proclamation 9645, the recent "travel ban" imposed by President Trump.

Silver argues that the Supreme Court decision hurts U.S. higher ed, inhibiting education for both domestic and international students. 

"Bennington College, like higher education broadly, is committed to — and depends on — the free exchange of ideas across disciplines, across cultures, across continents," writes Silver. "This executive order works against the most fundamental goal of higher education: to teach all of our students about the world."
