Winter Blitz
On Saturday, November 12, 21 Bennington students and 3 Bennington staff weatherized five homes in North Bennington and the Town of Bennington as part of Winter Blitz.
Seven of the students had been trained in weatherization earlier in November and led each of the five weatherization teams in caulking windows, installing door sweeps, putting up storm windows, wrapping foam insulation around hot water pipes, and much more. This is the second consecutive fall term where Bennington College has partnered with Williams College for Winter Blitz, which supports weatherization for low-income homeowners in the northern Berkshires and Bennington region.
