Justin Theroux '93 Highlighted in The Wall Street Journal
Justin Theroux '93, who currently co-stars in the Prime Video series Fallout, spoke to The Wall Street Journal about his early school troubles, a vandalism arrest at age 12, and advice that changed his life.
"At Bennington College, I majored in visual arts and drama," Theroux told The Wall Street Journal. "During my first year, I focused on painting and sculpture. One day, Nicholas Martin, the prominent stage director and teacher, stopped by the sculpture studio. We spoke, and he suggested I take his acting class. I did and loved performing. Both Nicholas and Peter Hedges, the screenwriter and director at Bennington, were mentors and helped me understand the craft of acting."
