Kaiya Kirk
Kaiya Kirk '20 is the Executive Director of Bennington Theater. Originally from Los Angeles, her work spans production management, stage management, and arts administration across regional and New York City theater, including experience at Abrons Arts Center, The Flea, and Harlem Stage.
Biography
Prior to becoming Executive Director of Bennington Theater in 2025, Kirk served as their Production Manager, helping oversee more than 100 events in 2024 while supporting the theater’s growth as a cultural hub for Southern Vermont. She first collaborated with the organization as Assistant Director and Dramaturge for Oldcastle Theatre Company’s 2022 production of Sheepdog. In New York, she worked in production at Abrons Arts Center and The Flea, and in general management at Harlem Stage. Kirk's work is rooted in collaborative theater-making and creating sustainable, community-centered performance spaces. She received her BA from Bennington College in 2020 and returns as a visiting faculty member for Fall 2026.
