Nibal Malshi: Songs of the Arab World

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Noted for her evocative vocals, extraordinary Palestinian singer Nibal Malshi makes her Bennington College debut with a captivating program of Middle Eastern songs.

Celebrating National Arab American Heritage Month, Malshi’s program features a variety of classic and modern Arab music with repertoire drawn from Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Palestine, and elsewhere. She will be accompanied by a stellar ensemble performing on traditional instruments. 

Malshi graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and has performed with such virtuoso musicians as Simon Shaheen, Firas Zreik, and the National Arab Orchestra under the direction of Michael Ibrahim.
