Nurse Practitioner, Student Health Center

Wendy (she/her) holds four graduate degrees, including a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2019), and has been a Nurse Practitioner for twenty years. She is dual board-certified in Primary Care and Psychiatric Mental Health.

As a Nurse Practitioner, Wendy integrates conventional medicine with evidence-based holistic practices, offering a patient-centered approach that respects and responds to individual needs, preferences, and values. She incorporates Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and mind-body practices to support mental health, emotional resilience, and overall well-being. Her approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and spiritual health, empowering patients to actively participate in their healing process.

On campus, Wendy serves as a Psychiatric Mental Health provider, dedicated to ensuring that all Bennington students feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes healing begins with trust and is nurtured through acceptance, compassion, and self-awareness.

With a deep passion for integrative medicine, Wendy continuously studies Ayurveda, Yoga, and Buddhism, blending these wisdom traditions with modern psychiatry to create a comprehensive and personalized approach to care.
