Curtis Wells turned a degree in engineering into an expertise for fixing electronics and optimizing audio gear—skills he puts to good use in his support of faculty and student work in music.
While getting his degree in Engineering, Wells worked at the student radio station and played in bands -- along the way discovering his knack for fixing electronics and optimizing audio gear. Post college, his passion bloomed into a respectable career touring the planet and recording with artists like 86 Band of Horses, Vampire Weekend, Southern Culture on the Skids, and many others. Since moving to the Berkshires in 2010, he has been an Audio Technician for Mass MoCA and Tanglewood. Wells became the Technical Instructor in Sound and Music at Bennington in Spring 2016.
