Greta Enriquez (she/they) is the Program Director of the low-residency MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bennington College.

Biography

Enriquez is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina. They hold a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities and Culture from Union Institute and University, with certificates in Women's and Gender Studies and Creative Writing. She obtained her MA in Psychology and Counseling from Goddard College and her BA in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis. 

Enriquez has been active in higher education for the last 8 years, teaching undergraduates and graduates in Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and the Humanities. She has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, and has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health settings with specializations in narrative therapy, neurodiversity, ADHD, and specific learning differences, and somatic processes. Creative writing, storytelling, and fine art contribute to her research and overall approach to teaching and clinical work.

Enriquez joined Bennington in Summer 2025.
