Jesse McDougall is an author, a Co-Founder and Director of Regenerative Agriculture at Regenerative Food Network, Inc, and farmer at Studio Hilla regenerative 4th-generation family farm in southwestern Vermont. He is also an holistic management accredited professional and a Savory Institute Hub Leader.

 


Biography

McDougall is co-owner of Studio Hill—a 4th-generation family farm and a Savory Institute Influencer Hub. Since 2012, he and his wife, Cally, have used holistically-managed livestock to rebuild soil, increase biodiversity, increase water infiltration and retention, and sequester carbon across 100 acres of their 270-acre farm. McDougall is an author, a public speaker, and an accredited professional holistic management educator, and is working to rebuild farming infrastructure in the northeast. He and his wife live with their two children on the farm in Shaftsbury, Vermont. McDougall was a guest faculty member at Bennington for Fall 2020, Fall 2021, and visiting faculty for Spring 2023.
