Biography
Lyon is the author of Self-Portrait With Boy, which was a finalist for the Center for Fiction's First Novel Prize and the International Dublin Literary Award. Her short work has appeared most recently in One Story, The Rumpus, Longreads, Electric Literature, and elsewhere. An alumna of Princeton University (BA) and Indiana University (MFA), she is editor-in-chief of Epiphany, and has taught at Bard College, Sackett Street Writers Workshop, Catapult, and other institutions. Lyon was a Ben Belitt Visiting Faculty Fellow at Bennington for Spring 2022 and Spring 2023.
