James Habacker MFA ’94 and Camille Habacker

Camille Habacker and James Habacker MFA '94 are the owners of the Slipper Room, a variety theatre located on Manhattan's Lower East Side. They have been performing together as Mel & Fanny Frye since 1999, and are currently at work on a feature length film about these characters, due to be released in 2022. Their short piece is dedicated to the memory of Marc Spitz, a Bennington alum who along with James co-wrote many of Mel & Fanny's routines.
