Her recent work is on the sensorial unconscious of anti-colonial movements and feminist experiments with language and narrative.

Sahraa Karimi is a film director and screenwriter from Afghanistan. Despite facing numerous obstacles, she has become a leading figure in the Afghan film industry and has won numerous international awards for her work.

Fern Silva uses moving image to produce a sonic and cinematographic language for the hybrid mythologies of globalism. His films consider methods of narrative, ethnographic, and documentary filmmaking as the starting point for structural experimentation.
