Who We Are
Student Career Assistants
Students in this peer support role demonstrate exceptional writing skills, a lived understanding of the learning value of Field Work Term, and a desire to better resource their fellow students. Student career assistants work closely with the Bennington professional staff to: educate and guide fellow students through resume, cover letter, and digital profile review; serve as role models by sharing their own experiences; and assist the College in developing strategies to fully engage students in learning through work.
As Office Assistant, Hafsa supports the Office of Career Development & Field Work Term in critical administrative tasks, which directly support students in finding work opportunities and exploring careers. These include updating archives of former employers and listings; managing databases of job and internship information for student use; bulletin board design and social media content generation; and researching/reporting on career development initiatives at peer schools.
