OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | Keira Maameri is a documentary filmmaker who grew up with Hip Hop as a cultural reference and alternative. Both passionate about this movement and the 7th art, she chose to join the University of Paris VIII and successfully obtained a master's degree in cinema. From music videos to reports, including teasers, recordings and making of, Keira Maameri makes all kinds of films with the Last of the Class production team. At the same time, she develops her projects: she makes both humorous short films and more intimate films, such as the documentary "A nos Absents" which deals with the transcendence of death through French rap texts. As for the medium-length film "We cling to our dreams", it focuses on the place of female artists in Hip Hop in France. In 2011, the film "Don't Panik!" was released, which this time captures the words of Muslim rappers around the world. She returns in 2016 with "Nos Plumes" which gives her the spotlight on young French authors.
