Dinklage ‘91 to Deliver Commencement Address
Bennington is pleased to announce that recent Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Peter Dinklage ’91 will address this year’s graduating class at the College’s 77th Commencement Dinner on Friday, June 1.
Dinklage, whose recent honors come in recognition of his supporting role as Tyrion Lannister in the critically acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones, has appeared in numerous television shows and films, including The Station Agent (in his breakthrough role as Finbar McBride), Elf, Death at a Funeral, and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, among others.
"Peter’s immense talent as an actor, both on stage and on screen, is secret to no one—particularly after the past year he’s had," said Bennington President Elizabeth Coleman. "We’re thrilled to welcome him back to where his acting career took root, and very much looking forward to what is sure to be a very special occasion made even more memorable by his presence."
