Greetings!

I hope that you are doing well. In these last weeks before arriving to campus, I want to ensure you are as prepared as possible and have the information you need.

As I shared in last week’s email (sent January 21), you will need to sign up for an appointment to arrive on campus. This appointment is both for your move in time and your first COVID test for the spring term. You should sign up on the CoVerified App or website. If you have not signed up for an appointment yet on this platform, please use these instructions, you can also learn more about CoVerified using this guide. As a reminder, if you are coming to Bennington this spring as a brand new student (transfer, exchange, or first term), please register for an appointment on February 13 as orientation will begin on February 14. If you are a returning student to campus (even if you were remote in the fall), you can sign up for an appointment on February 13 or February 14. The appointments will allow us to spread out arrival times so that there are limited folks in each space, and we are able to move quickly through the check-in/testing process. Note that you should choose Greenwall for your appointment location for arrival testing.

I know that many of you may have questions about what arrival will look like, what testing looks like, and what the term will look like. We have updated our Frequently Asked Questions for students page on the website to provide answers to many questions. We will be updating these as other questions arise. I also invite you to attend our Question & Answer session on Tuesday, January 26 at 4:30 pm ET for students and families. Please register to attend. You can submit questions ahead of time. In our next communication, we will also be including a video and step by step instructions for arrival.

Finally, we want to ensure that we have the most recent information from you regarding your plans for the spring term. Whether you will be on campus or remote, please take a moment to fill out this form with your current plan. We will use this in the billing process.
