After purchasing the Walloomsac Inn in Bennington, VT, in June, Rafe Churchill '91 and Casey Sunderland offered their plans at a community Q&A as they discuss their intention to restore the historic building to a functioning inn.

Reported The Bennington Banner:

"The new owners of the Walloomsac Inn responded to a stream of questions about their plans Tuesday from an enthusiastic, overflow audience at the Bennington Theater.

"Rafe Churchill and Casey Sunderland, member/owners of Walloomsac Property, LLC, which purchased the historic site in June, gave a presentation and took questions during the community information session.

"The session was organized as part of a meeting of the Old Bennington Board of Trustees that was moved to the Main Street theater because of the expected large crowd.

"The owners are part of the leadership team for the Connecticut-based architecture and interior design firm, Hendricks Churchill, founded by Churchill and his wife, Heide Hendricks."
