Student Awarded Grant
Crossett Library is pleased to announce that Sangeeth Raja Selvaraju '19 is the recipient of the Crossett Library Student Library Research Grant.
The grant, which has been offered to students each semester since 2012, supports student research at academic libraries. Raja Selvaraju will be traveling to India to work in the library at the Central University of Tamil Nadu.
About the project, he says: "In 21st century India the country has vigorously tried to create formal institutions of credit and provide credit to all individuals regardless of caste and occupation. To study the success and effectiveness of these programs we are going to undertake a study to explore the availability of credit across all the states in India. We hope to delve into studying what the source of credit, and the comparison between the formal and informal institutions of credit."
