Biography

After graduating from Bennington College, having studied the intersection between restorative justice, psychology, and education, Fox received their Master's in Restorative Justice with distinction from Vermont Law and Graduate School. Motivated by their interest in how restorative practices can be utilized in the criminal legal and education systems, Fox's time as an undergrad included serving on the county's Youth Justice Board, working with the local high school to provide restorative circles to vulnerable populations several times a week, and collaborating with faculty member Alisa Del Tufo to create a Raise the Age pilot program, presented to key stakeholders in the state of Vermont. 

Post-graduation, Fox worked with Del Tufo and faculty member Emily Waterman, developing restorative interventions for 16-26-year-olds engaged in intimate partner violence through state-funded research. Other post-graduation accomplishments include serving on the Vermont Changemakers 2022-2023 Cohort, presenting at the National Association for Community and Restorative Justice in 2024, and assisting in teaching restorative practices to students through several classes and training opportunities since 2022.

Fox has worked at Bennington since graduation, and currently serves as the Assistant Director for Residential Education. Their values are relationship-building, collaboration, and praxis-oriented learning, centering these values in their work. In their free time, Fox volunteers with the Bennington Center for Restorative Justice and spends time in their garden.

Fox is a visiting faculty member at Bennington for Fall 2025.
