News from the Bennington College Herbarium

The Bennington College Herbarium was showcased at this year's Northeast Natural History Conference in Burlington, VT.

Alejandra Vouga '26 presented a talk on her herbarium-based research over the past three years in the Ecology and Field Biology Lab. Alex Libby '27, Devon Giardini '29, Kai Bjork '26, Hazel Ragozzine '28, Willa Donovan '26, Nora Beer '26, and Isabel Coviello '29 presented posters on their herbarium-based research.

Faculty member emeritus Kerry Woods presented a talk on his old growth research and faculty member Caitlin McDonough MacKenzie presented on ecological pedagogy featuring the Reading and Knitting the Forested Landscape class and Maple Sugaring tutorial.
