Sara White is Interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Bennington College, where she serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet and leads the College’s fundraising and engagement strategy.

During her 18 years at Bennington, she has held progressively senior roles spanning advancement strategy and operations, campaign planning, principal and major gifts, alumni engagement, donor relations, analytics, and organizational effectiveness. She played a key leadership role in Bennington’s $150 million comprehensive campaign and is known for translating institutional priorities into actionable strategies, strengthening systems and accountability, and aligning people, processes, and technology to advance philanthropic goals.

Sara also serves as a Finance Committee volunteer for the Association of Advancement Services Professionals and is a past president of the Bennington County Coalition for the Homeless.
