A Martha Graham centennial project rooted in Bennington’s historic connection

Bennington College is hosting a landmark Graham100 centennial project in collaboration with the Martha Graham Dance Company. The event honors the 100th anniversary of the Company and Bennington's foundational role in the history of American modern dance.
Included in this engagement is Panorama, a work created by Martha Graham at Bennington College in 1935. It is widely regarded as a landmark of American modernism and a politically driven call to social consciousness. This project reconstructs Panorama as part of the Company’s centennial year and will be performed by both Bennington’s BA and BFA dance students in its performance.
