Anti-War Action to Support Ukraine
On March 10, in an event organized by Elena Demyanenko, Bennington students, faculty, and staff laid down together on the ground in solidarity with Ukraine.
“Human bodies in stillness on the ground is the image of casualties of war,” said Elena. "We are heartbroken by the destruction of lives, communities, cultures and futures. While resistance to war In Russia is silenced, we condemn this criminal war of aggression against Ukraine and stand firmly with those who seek peace and freedom.”
