Field Work Term and Career Development Coordinator

head shot of brenda mercureBrenda runs the office’s front desk and is often the first point of contact for students, alumni, employers, and external partners. In this role, she manages event coordination for the office, directs the annual calendar for communications to all campus groups, assists students with FWT registration, manages FWT grant distribution, and supports the other staff with administrative management. Brenda also oversees the Student Career Assistant program, which offers students peer advising on resumes, cover letters, and digital profiles.

Brenda holds a BS degree in Education from Framingham State University and brings over 25 years of experience working with students in a variety of educational settings. Prior to Bennington, Brenda served as a Program Coordinator for Pre-College Programs at Harvard University and Executive Master’s programs at Brown University.
