Your Impact

See what your generosity has made possible!

Gifts to the Bennington Fund transform lives. Together, 1,488 donors contributed $15.5 million to benefit our exceptional students, faculty, and staff; programs; and facilities last academic year. Whether it's your first gift or the most recent of many, thank you!

One-of-a-kind experiences, like Bennington's Greek Rebetiko Ensemble, is guided by passionate faculty who create life-changing moments for students.

Rebetiko is a form of Greek urban music from the early 20th century. Often called the Greek blues, Rebetiko’s songs are about love, migration, despair, jail, death, hashish and hard drugs, loving the wrong person, social injustice, current events, the Aegean and its waters, fishing, daily life, and much more. Rebetiko, its composers and performers became wildly popular through recordings and live performance, making an indelible mark on the evolution of Greek music.

Donor Spotlight: Jeff Curto MFA '83

Jeff Curto MFA '83 was one of Bennington's first MFA students and the only one in photography when he came to Bennington. He recently established the Jeff Curto MFA '83 Fund for Faculty and Curricular Support in Photography. Over the next three years, this fund will underwrite visiting faculty member in photography Luiza Foligatti, a Brazilian multi-disciplinary artist who integrates teaching photography, social advocacy and immigrants rights.
