Dinklage ‘91 to Deliver Commencement AddressBennington is pleased to announce that recent Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Peter Dinklage ’91 will address this year’s graduating class at the College’s 77th Commencement Dinner on Friday, June 1.
College Receives Major Art and Technology GrantThe Sherman Fairchild Foundation has awarded a grant to Bennington College for the Open Art and Technology Initiative. The $300,000, three-year grant will support a faculty-led project to create new opportunities for Bennington’s visual and performing arts faculty to collaboratively develop curriculum that uses new technology, with the support of visiting artist-technologists who will teach and train faculty and students together in an open environment of artistic and intellectual exchange.

Titus Andronicus to Perform at BenningtonTitus Andronicus, one of Rolling Stone magazine’s “seven best new bands of 2010, “ will perform live at the Bennington College Student Center on Friday, Nov. 11, at 10:00 p.m. Tickets ($10 for general public/$7 with any student college ID) will be available at the door on the night of the event.
Bennington College Goal: Carbon NeutralityBennington College and its students have long prided themselves for their environmental efforts, and on Tuesday the college took another step in that direction by signing the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment. With President Elizabeth Coleman's signature at a special reception Tuesday evening, Bennington College made a commitment to become carbon neutral by 2030.
