Princeton Review Ranks Bennington Among Most Green U.S. CollegesThe Princeton Review has recognized Bennington as one of the country's most environmentally responsible colleges, citing the College's new biomass heating system and expanded environmental studies curriculum in its first ever Guide to 286 Green Colleges.

Bennington Librarian Oceana Wilson Discusses Recent Honor on VPROceana Wilson, Director of Library and Information Services, was interviewed on Vermont Public Radio this week after winning the American Library Association's "I Love My Librarian Award," a national prize sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation of New York and The New York Times. Wilson, one of 10 winners chosen from more than 3,200 nominations, received $5,000 and was honored at a ceremony last month in New York.

Biomass Plant Wins Design AwardFor their design of Bennington College's biomass heating facility, which heats 85 percent of the campus using renewable wood chips, Centerline Architects and Planners have earned an Excellence in Architecture Award from The American Institute of Architects/Vermont Chapter.
