Bennington faculty are interviewed by TV reporter NSF Awards Bennington Rapid Response Grant to Study PFOA

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Bennington College nearly $90,000 for a Rapid Response grant to support a new course and conduct original research on the perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) contamination recently discovered in Hoosick Falls, NY, and North Bennington, VT.

ENACT logo Scully Named ENACT Fellow

Faculty member Eileen Scully was recently named a faculty fellow in ENACT, a new national program at Brandeis University designed to engage young people in state-level legislative change.

Dance faculty member Elena Demyanenko performed her latest work, "Blue Room," as a part of the ‪#‎DigitalDanceFestival‬ at New York Live Arts on February 25 and 28. Music faculty member Nick Brooke is the composer, and MFA fellow Dai Jian also collaborated on the piece. 

Alexander Chee's 'Queen of the Night' Alexander Chee's New Novel Triumphs

Alexander Chee's latest novel, The Queen of the Night, is being greeted with enthusiastic praise on the heels of its February 2 release. Chee is a faculty member in the MFA in Writing program at Bennington College.
