Course Description

Summary

This course is for students who want to learned to play the piano.

Lessons are given on a one on one basis. Each lesson is 20-25 minute-long. 

If you have taken piano lessons, audition for Intermediate Piano.

Learning Outcomes

  • Music Literacy
    Experience and identify the notes of the keyboard and their relationships.
    -Learn to read and play the notes of the grand staff (treble clef and bass clef).
    -Grasp key music theory ideas like major and minor scales and chords, key signatures, and markings of style and interpretation
    Learn to play beginning level piano music
