Course Description
Summary
In this course, we will explore the possibilities of radio and sonic narration through experimental sound practices. How can we portray political and social events through sonic practices without relying on verbal communication? What are ways of creating speculative worlds through radio broadcasting? Along with readings and discussions, we will examine previous experimental work in radio and radio drama. There will be an emphasis on production and experiential learning through exercises and workshops. During the semester, students will create various radio shows for B-rad Radio.Prerequisites
