Course Description

Summary

We will be looking at the microphone, cables, processing, and speakers that we use in the making of music and performance. There will be sonic drills to identify frequencies and processing. There will be memorization of cables and their uses. There will be memorization of microphones and their uses. If you are planning to work in the industry, the knowledge will help you move quickly and efficiently in the field. We will touch upon Audacity and QLab.

  • Identifying the frequencies that make up sounds.
