Course Description
Summary
In this experimental class, we will create space for you to pursue work within or near mathematics, statistics, data science, etc. This course is intended for students at a variety of levels of experience with a solid interest in following questions and curiosity to lead to a deeper understanding. You will lead your work, in collaboration and with the support of the class.
Topics explored in this course could include topics you have seen in other math classes but never quite fully understood, topics that are beyond the scope of previous courses that you would love to learn, projects you have longed for space to accomplish, and whatever else captures our interest. These topics could relate to mathematics, statistics, STEM education, STEM communication, etc. If you have an idea and don’t know if it might fit, please come talk to the instructor!
