Course Description

Summary

This class approaches experimental pedagogies as the many forms of study we undertake through critical discursive educational practices. The process of (un)learning also comes with any act of creative inquiry, searching, and experimentation. 

Visiting scholar Sepake Angiama will be in residence for this course.

 

Learning Outcomes

  • learn to generate tools, resources, and ways of working/playing within one’s practice & research that can help launch them into the year of study and research.
  • learn to identify how modern social structures have shaped and continue to shape culture and
    education

Prerequisites

Enrollment in MFA Low-Residency Dance program.
