Summary

Students will explore the application of expressive arts therapies in working with individuals, and the infusion of expressive arts practices in psychotherapy sessions. *Can be integrated into an appropriate course that is not already integrated with a Concentration requirement

  • • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of expressive arts therapies in individual psychotherapy sessions, integrating diverse modalities such as visual arts, music, movement, and writing; demonstrate the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to engage in expressive arts processes, fostering trust and emotional openness.
